Fall Youth Contests from the Moon Township Garden Club
eligibility
The Moon Garden Club Youth Committee sponsors the following contests.
Eligible participants include age- appropriate students from:
Moon School District schools
Homeschools and private schools
Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and church groups
Summer camps and other parks and recreation groups
poetry contest
The Poetry Contest invites students in grades K-12 to express their creativity while exploring how nature connects to our country’s history through the theme “CELEBRATING AMERICA’S 250 YEARS WITH RED, WHITE, AND BLUE.”

group sculpture contest
The Sculpture Contest encourages children in Grades 4-8 to keep our planet green and get involved in saving the environment by making sculptures from recyclable, reused, and reduced materials.

smokey the bear poster contest
Smokey the Bear/Woodsy Owl Poster Contest gives children in Grades 1-5 the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of wildfire prevention and basic environmental conservation principles through original drawings of Smokey the Bear and Woodsy Owl.
