Sandy to officially end the Memorial
and invite Elaine’s Family and the MTGC Membership for desserts and light refreshments.

Rain or Shine the Event, “Members, Family and Friends” will take place!
A co-sponsored event by your Membership Committee and the FDL Committee! Come one, come all! All the desserts have been baked and prepared and we look forward to seeing so many members, family and friends! We will meet you in the Garden and if rain we will meet you in the Carriage House (not the main house)!
-Starts at 5 p.m. and runs till 7 p.m.
-FREE Event!
-Each member and guest will receive a door prize ticket
-6:30 p.m. Drawing for door prize
-One lucky member has a chance to win one of our new cloth bags (see attached)
- There was just a hand full who we did not hear from and welcome you to come join us, please come!
-Take home boxes will be available to take cookies, slice of cake or pies, etc., home!
Save the date AUGUST 13TH GARDEN EVENT (JULY 29, 2026)
The Membership Committee and the FDL Committee are co-sponsoring a members' night with friends in the garden.
“Friends” are not necessarily potential members but
those with whom you often share stories about the club. Why not bring them to the garden for an evening to mingle with everyone who joins us? You decide who that friend will be; it could be, for example, a long-time
friend, neighbor, relative, or someone from another outside activity you
enjoy or just yourself! Light non-alcoholic drinks and delicious desserts
will be provided. Please RSVP us directly!

FLEUR DE LUNE RECOGNITION (JULY 24, 2026)
The Moon Township Garden Club has earned a first-place state award from the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania for Permanent Community Improvements. This recognition honors their outstanding work in transforming the Fleur de Lune Garden located at Robin Hill Park.
In May, the garden earned a certificate of merit award from the National
Garden Club for Permanent Community Improvements. That brings with it a $100.00 monetary award.
We are installing a plaque on the shed welcoming people to the "award
winning Fleur de Lune Garden" at the request of the township.
The Fleur De Lune committee is very proud that we have a place that our clubcomes to weekly to bond, create, laugh, garden and strengthen our love of gardening - together. It also provides a special place we can educate and share with the community. We talk to people every week visiting in the garden.
We never stop appreciating that we have a unique asset for a garden club.
Recently, the extended Nimick family visited the garden for a memorial treeplanting and they expressed that this is exactly what their parents and
grandparents envisioned. That is very special.

MOON TOWNSHIP GARDEN CLUB PUBLIC WEBSITE GOES LIVE (MAY 31, 2026)
After weeks of Quality Control review and a team testing the of the Site
(nothing more was necessary) ......
We Are Live with the Public Site!!!!!
This is very exciting so take a look, tell your friends and spread the
word!!!!! This is a tie in with the Petals & Pours event.
The QR signs for the cottage gardens are installed.
Blogs and news auto-blast to FB and Instagram to link back to the website and generate traffic.
